Our final test of the year is Monday, May 15th.  Students needing to re-test on standards 6.EE.3 and 6.EE.4 will be testing.  You can find this information by logging into Mastery Connect.  Students should also be aware of this and should have brought their Math Journal home to study over the weekend.  Examples can be found on page 68 & 70 of their journal.  We will be testing on equivalent expressions.

Don’t forget to take care of WIS library fines.  Fines “follow” students to WMS and may limit your use of the library.

Park Day:  We will be walking to the park on Wednesday, May 17th for lunch.  Students may bring a lunch from home or purchase a school sack lunch, but I need the count on Monday, May 15th.  Please be sure your child knows what they are doing on that day Monday so we can place our sack lunch order with the cafeteria.

Thank you:  I just wanted to thank everyone for making me feel so appreciated these past few days.  I don’t think that I have ever been so showered with chocolate, gift cards, lotions, and other gifts as I have this year.

Field Day:  Don’t forget to dress appropriately for field day tomorrow.  Coach Mawdsley sent an email yesterday reminding students to wear water shoes (or something they don’t mind to get wet and muddy) and bring a towel and a change of clothes if they plan to participate in the water activities.

Blog Posts:  sorry that my blog did not get updated regularly last week.  I was experiencing log-in difficulties, but they are straightened out this week.  Remember you can always check your child’s agenda to see what we did in class and/or what is due.

MAP Testing:  MAP testing next week.  6th grade will test Tuesday (ELA) and Thursday (Math).  Please follow good testing habits, eat breakfast, get a good nights rest, and don’t stress!  Also, avoid scheduling appointments on these days if possible.  Students do have to make up any tests they miss.  We will be on an alternative schedule next week.  No fitness on Monday.

No Clubs/Tutoring or Late Bus next week due to testing.
